"This hotel is the former Hard Rock Hotel (Google Maps still shows it as that) and still displays some rock reminders here and there. The location is great, right opposite Marble Arch at the end of Oxford Street and just round the corner from the tube station (central line). A huge lobby contains a cafe, a self serve mini shop (quite expensive) and a large bar/restaurant. Our room was a family room and was clean and tidy with a complimentary mini bar but didnt have a view as such, we couldn't see...

"Excellent location for walking to many places or getting public transportation. One should ask for a quiet room so you don't face noisy Oxford St. The breakfast is worth it. The only downside is that the hotel is very big and does not have enough elevators."
