Charming Houseboat
This houseboat was perfect for a few days stay in Boston. We loved being on the water and exploring the Charlestown area. The location was convenient - just a couple blocks walk and we were on the Freedom Trail.

Amazing vacation stay!
Wanted to try something different than a regular hotel room and this was it! Short walk to Freedom Trail and Hop on Hop off tour stop for USS Constitution. Seeing the city skyline at night - watching the sunset - and it is in a secure gated area - all great perks! The greeter/check in person was very friendly and the host/hostess easy to communicate with!

3 night stay
Just as advertised, and very comfortable. Wonderful communication with the owner and especially Sherrie, who manages the check-in process. She changed her schedule around to support our arrival and was very informative about everything. I highly recommend this house-boat.

Such a nice boat
Me and a friend so enjoyed our stay. Rocked to sleep in comfy bed and pull out sofa. Only hiccup is that there are no late check ins. That is stated in other rules.

A perfect respite in the city
Waking in comfort on the water and sitting on your deck of choice to welcome the sun was such a pleasant way to visit Boston. A quick walk brings you on a walk along the waterfront and the “T” ferry is a pleasant way to cross the harbor to the Aquarium/ Fanieul Hall area. Check in and coordination were beyond wonderful. Highly recommend.

Floating away
One of the most unique places we have stayed. Easy walking to nearby attractions. The boat has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The bot rocks you to sleep at night, we slept like babies!!! Morning coffee on the deck with the geese and ducks. Marina parking was very convenient and well worth the price.

Like an RV on the water!
We’ve been avid road warriors for years pulling a pop-up camper to many state parks and more. This was an upgrade with kitchen, bath, shower, full fridge, bed and sofa bed -more like a full-sized RV camping vehicle. Only wish we could have stayed longer and seen more of Boston witho these unique accommodations. LOVED it!

Great Long Weekend Stay!
The location is great as being on the water gives it a quiet "away from it all" feel, yet it is walking distance or a short Uber ride to almost everything Boston has to offer. We didn't do much cooking (other than brewing coffee and heating up leftovers) but for a small boat the kitchen area is very workable. The owners arranged a "greeter" to be there when we arrived to help make sure we knew all the ins/outs of staying on a boat. We really enjoyed having two outside sitting areas - one for sunrise, and the other for sunset. It was a plus to be able to watch a lightening storm while we were there, yet still felt very safe - just a bit more rocking us to sleep that night.

Houseboat Adventurer
A friend once told be she wanted to live on a houseboat. She was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and I knew I had to get her to a houseboat for an adventure. After I a little research I found this property and knew it was just what she needed. It’s a beautiful location with amazing access to local attractions and fabulous dining. We signed up for parking right at the marina and Uber’d to dinner. There is a Whole Foods not too far from the boat with great parking. The biast was peaceful and relaxing with the gentle rocking. This was definitely a great choice and we enjoyed every minute. I would highly recommend this experience.

Disliked: Check-in
I wanted to love it!
Check in process was *terrible* as I was checked in to the WRONG place, it turned out. Then just as I was starting to unpack and settle in - the correct people arrived - and I had to grab all my things and move to another houseboat. The area was absolutely beautiful- and would probably be very fun if things had been smoother. The only other specific negative comment was that the weather really changed during the days I was there, and on the last night I was FREEZING all night. I had the heaters cranked as high as they would go - but the small baseboard heaters only worked in the bathroom, and the "living" room.... I was in the bed - with all the thin blankets in the place piled over me, plus socks & a hat. One other thing - the bigger houseboat I was placed in at first - had coffee & a coffee maker - the one I was moved to had no tea or coffee - just a water kettle and a microwave - so I had to go buy instant coffee.

Decent until it rained and soaked the only bed.
The marina is great and the boat is ok. We were switched from the houseboat in this listing to the “Little Pearl” by the owner prior to our trip. The boat was decent enough, could use a serious cleaning, but not bad. The issue is the front v-berth hatched leaked when it rained and soaked the bed. Our greeter Sherry told us on arrival it was leaking and she taped it up. It is clear that this has leaked for awhile due to the water stains on the mattress pad. See photos. Then when I called to report the problem I was told “the sofa is really comfortable”. NOT FOR TWO PEOPLE and not what I paid for. I slept on the floor and my wife on the sofa. Super terrible. The owners phone number didn’t work and we contacted Jim, who couldn’t help us due to medical issues. We have yet to be contacted for any restitution for our extreme inconvenience. I would avoid!!!!

Unique Vacation Stay
We loved staying on this houseboat. It was kind of like an adventure inside of an adventure. The only thing I would have changed (if I had the ability) was the weather. Our stay was in November (we were there for an event), so it was chilly. Next time we will stay when it's warmer, so we can enjoy coffee (by morning) and wine (by evening) out on the houseboat's deck. Our greeter was very helpful with the houseboat orientation and with walking directions from the boat. The location was really convenient to downtown Boston, the Freedom Trail, and the subway, whether walking or driving. All in all, a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

First time on a house boat
My 2 adult daughters and my grandson stayed for 5 days to sightsee in Boston and walk the Freedom Trail. The house boat was in a beautiful marina with a very nice bath house, surrounded by boardwalks and a park-like setting. Close to the USS Constitution and numerous places to eat. We were greeted at the gate by Sherry and she gave us a great and informative tour of the marina, bath house, and boat. The boat had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We visited the end of October and we're warm and cozy. The boat rocked delightfully all the time. It was an amazing stay!!! We would love to repeat it again.

Wonderful escape
The location puts you within walking distance of all the basic necessities: coffee. Lots of great places to eat nearby and a short distance from the ferry as well if you want to venture out. The house boat is cozy and comfortable and the marina is calm and quiet. Perfect for relaxing or catching up on some much needed rest. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return next time we are in town.
