"We really enjoyed our visit. The hotel was comfortable and quiet. Relaxing on the deck in the morning and evening was wonderful. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only tiny issue was the quality of the facial and toilet tissue. Everything else was terrific!! The ambient music was such a nice surprise. It was and easy walk to get into town. We will return."

"Main gem of home has to be the expansive covered deck with daybed swing and so many other seating options overlooking the scenic backyard scape and partial lake view. We hung out on the deck every chance we got to enjoy the serene views, wind chimes, nature sounds and rainfalls (and so few bugs!). Other gems: firepit area (didn't use this stay) and dock access to lake with well-built canoe and kayak provided (kids took canoe few times). Too much lake bottom silt for us to want to swim but good cardio exercise walking up/down the 56 sturdy wood platform steps. Driveway somewhat steep and a bit of a challenge for our minivan but alas, you are in the mountains. Plentiful stock of bath/beach towels, linens/pillows/blankets, laundry pods/dish soap and even some board games. In the kitchen frig and pantry by front door, even some staples left from owner/other guests for you to use. Beds comfortable, also the couches! House super clean and so inviting!!Top notch communication with Holly and rental place, and they even send you a link of a guestbook about the house info (keypad access is so easy!) and local area guide of places to visit/eating places. Dry Falls a must see (very close from house)-spectacular waterfall you can walk behind and not far from parking lot. And a swimming water hole down the road from it (Quarry Falls/Bust Your Butt Falls??). Favorite places to eat: Blue Bike Cafe (breakfast/lunch), Four65 Woodfire Bistro (pizza) in downtown Highlands.Hope to return!!"

"Stayed for a few nights with my family as a base camp for all sorts of activities. Home was very comfortable and well laid out. Canoeing in the lake was definitely a highlight. Would definitely stay here again"

"I just LOVED my stay at this cabin. The outdoor space is one of the best I've had the opportunity to enjoy. The front porch has plush oversize seating and a swing for morning coffee and late night relaxation with beautiful lighting. There was also a covered deck area steps away from the house that sat next to the creek which allowed you to stretch out and listed to the water and soak up nature. This cabin had just the right amount of rustic quality with modern finishes in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well. I will be back."

"Loved the location and was ideal for exploring the area and going into highlands daily. The design and decor are stunning! We were a group of five women up for a relaxing girls weekend and it was perfect for us. Everyone slept great. It is a new build and I think they may still be working through the final punch list because there was some trim work / paint touch ups that seemed to still be in progress. I’m sure when everything is completed it will be perfect. We will be back! "

"The location is great to Main st and Falls. The house is very nice, clean and cozy. Cross street has a nice restaurant which add on for the long journey travelers. Two minutes has barbecue restaurant. We have a wedding at old Edwards farm, only 7 minutes away. highly recommended. Will go back to the house for vacation.
