"We really enjoyed our stay at the Outpost Inn. It felt like a rustic mountain lodge. The inn was actually redecorated when bought by the current owners. It was clean and the people working there were helpful. They had added some outdoor seating areas and a fire pit which is great for when the weather is nice. The price is good for the area. It was very close to the main street area with shops and restaurants. We'd stay there again as long as the price stays reasonable."

"This is such a great place. Rooms were very nicely done , comfortable king size bed, amazing shower . Very quiet . Walking distance to several dining options. Common area with fire pit and comfortable chairs. Check in was the easiest I have ever experienced. Great sitting area in the lobby area with gas fire place and a covered front porch with a few rocking chairs. A few cottages on site as well. Staff were so accommodating and very friendly. "The place was exactly as advertised. It is small but the two of us had a great time and the place is very convenient to several state parks. Parking is a little slim but everything was good overall.
