The property is much older but you can see that their advertising the upcoming new look. The staff were all very nice and polite.

This hotel is in a great location downtown, walkable to many bars and restaurants. The Starbucks inside is also a plus. My most recent stay though, the rooms are showing wear. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower and the soap dish had multiple chips broken off. Not sure I'd book here again.

Great stay, room was very big with comfy bed and big tv. They were experiencing a Verizon outage (out of their control) so we couldn’t get a room key right anway and had to be escorted to our room by staff and they comp’ed my Valet parking as a courtesy!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The only drawback was that the rooms felt a bit outdated and showed some wear. Despite this, it was a lovely hotel overall, and I would definitely stay here again!

The Hyatt-Regency was a far better stay ten years ago and prior. They used to run a 5-star operation, but it is clear that the infrastructure and building are aging and they are not investing the money into fixing it up. It was fine, and there were no real problems. Staff was great, but the hotel overall was unprepared for the influx of people coming in for American Thanksgiving and the Buffalo Bills game and our group of five wanted to simply check in by 2:00 P.M. so we could make our way to the Buffalo Bills game while unloading a portion of our gear. The hotel was not ready to have the rooms ready to go until 4:30 P.M. and that part is really unacceptable. They should have offered a small compensation, whether that be a financial one, or a future credit, or just something, to show that they were unhappy with being unprepared, but nothing of the sort was offered. Again, the staff was great to work with, but the hotel overall was definitely not the old Hyatt, and the hotel should be ready and have extra staff ready to accommodate large holiday influx periods. On one more positive, they did provide us a 2-hour late check-out enabling us to take our time to check-out to 1:00 P.M. from 11:00 A.M. That was a nice gesture but we still left by 11:30 A.M.
