"Very quiet location considering how close to all amenities and the high street. Well presented property and very friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. A nice touch was during breakfast we were asked if we’d like to take some fresh croissants home with us which we did. "

Condition of the hotel and the room - Feedback

"Hi, Just to let you know. The locks of my room was broken even before I got in 2days ago and showed the owner. It had not been repaired, hence I have to carry my luggage with me when I was outside. You mentioned that you would mend it but it was not for last 2days. There was hardly much for the breakfast, just basic. I had not had my breakfast for last 2 days. There was only one shared bathroom in the house and hence we almost had a Queen the morning to get in. Please mention that on your advertisement on the Hotels.com website. That’s why I now realised that you have a rating of 2/10. It’s better to be open and honest. Please consider a refund of at least £30 due to my account due to the above. My room at the attick had not shelves or wardrobe and one that was accessible was full of dirty and smelly bed sheet and pillows. So the experience wasn’t good. Thanks."

"I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this accommodation which was also a very good price. "

Impeccable property!

"We booked this as an alternative to a hotel room for one night as we were at a wedding nearby. We were so impressed by the communication before we arrived and we were very grateful that Stevie and the team were able to let us in a few hours early so we could drop our bags off before the wedding. We were so impressed when we arrived! The house is immaculate with such a brilliant, high spec renovation in stylish black and white throughout. It had all the latest mod cons including coffee machine and milk frother, wireless phone charging point at the bedside which was incorporated within the lamp (very impressed), and the most lovely smelling toiletries. The bowel of boarders biscuits and fridge with milk and water, along with the fresh,fluffy towels were all very welcomed and appreciated too! We’re gutted we couldn’t make more of a stay of it! We could have comfortably spent a long weekend here. We would highly recommend this property, Stevie and the team. The only teenie but if feedback would be that we couldn’t find an ironing board (but the iron was amazing!)"
