"Check in was smooth. Room was clean and adequately equipped. Towels changed and toiletries etc replenished daily. Breakfast choice was great food excellent. We dined in on the Sunday evening after a splendid afternoon at Carlisle races, outstanding food, cooked to perfection. Special mention for Kyle behind the bar and waitering, 5⭐ service, a real asset to your establishment, polite, knew his job and was great at it too all done with a smile. "Beds clean and comfy, room in need of updating especially bathroom vinyl flooring also floor noisy to walk on,however it is an old building. For one night it was perfect for us.Breakfast was good plenty of choice.Lovely staff all very welcoming and hotel very close to the station and in the middle of all the bars and shops."
