"The hotel is in a great location and very well cared for. Rooms are large and well appointed. Wonderful breakfast, wine and cheese plus and cookies. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning and we hit a very hot spell. There was only a fan in the room. The windows had to be left open at night on the busy street so it was quite noisy."

"The location was great, the room itself was good but the bed was very uncomfortable. The walkway leading to the room looked dirty. "

"We've been to the Adobe Inn many times, as it is dog friendly. Great location. You can park in their lot (which is priceless) & walk everywhere (which is priceless). You can hear the ocean from your room, which we love. We will keep going back"

"The hotel was very quaint and old fashioned. but the first room we were given (room 22) a double, was very small and the bathroom was not acceptable with peeling paint in the bath and rust down wall and in need of renovation. We were shown another room (33) a queen, in a building adjacent to main hotel which was not much bigger but bathroom was ok and bed was comfy. I would definitely book a queen or king room if we went to Carmel again. "

"This is a hidden gem. Property and furnishings are older however it’s clean, rooms are comfortable and quaint, staff are very friendly and roof top views are amazing. We will definitely return "

"Suite with two beds and two bathrooms was such a perfect set up for my husband and I with our two small kids. Nothing like putting the babies to sleep and then having a lovely bedroom with a couch and a fireplace to hang out together for the rest of the evening. As all parents who have traveled with kids know - putting kids to bed and then having to sit in a dark hotel room being quiet after they go to sleep is such a bummer. This hotel suite was pretty much perfect and avoided that completely! We all walked to a lovely dinner downtown and it felt safe and easy, and then came back to enjoy the fireplace Carmel cottage magic, and we will totally come back "
