"We were married at Highlands Inn 60 years ago, thus the reason for this return. It was a most gracious and gratifying reunion. We left as excited and as happy as we did after our wedding in the chapel and reception in the room now known as Sunset Lounge. Accommodations were superb, eclipsed only by the hospitality of positively everyone with whom we dealt. Wish we had planned to stay longer."

"Staying here was the best decision we’ve made for a vacation. The price was amazing and the location was perfect. It was very walkable from downtown Carmel and the beach. It was mostly quiet (except early morning traffic which was easily taken care of with the windows closed). The bed was so comfortable and everything was well stocked/clean. Can’t wait to stay again!"
