"Amazing quaint, cozy and well maintained inn located on the side of a mountain right near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Decorated for the holidays, ordered the bison burger at the restaurant downstairs aftet a long drive. Property manager husband and wife team were welcoming and full of hospitality for a solo snd weary traveler staying one night with her dog. Very pet friendly property. Room was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Bed, comforter, blankets and pillows were nice and snug....

"I stayed one night on Christmas Eve. with my 3 children. Our room was clean and cute. We had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The shower was small with no bathtub, but I'm guessing the place is older. Everything was great and there is a rocker on the porch. I'd stay again if needed. "

"Expected better! Yard was not kept at all, very overgrown with weeds and poison ivy, so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit. Inside on first and loft was nice. Basement bedroom had mold on the walls and only a bed, no furniture in it. Dryer was broken."

"The place looks better in person than the photos. We were delighted with the clean country cottage. It's very rural and quiet with lovely views. The water smells STRONGLY of bleach. Not sure if that's like that always or just because of the hurricane, but we didn't cook with it or drink it so it wasn't a deal breaker. Lovely soft landing after a hard day of hurricane clean up."

"We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"
