"Hameki is a hidden treasure, with the most gracious hostess/owner, accomodating staff and glamping experience! Our tent was extremely romantic, outdoor fire, drinks served poolside with bats swooping down to drink, all while nestled in the heart of the Yucatan jungle. "Clean and lovely, in beautiful jungle setting, just minutes from Uxmal ruins. Restaurant/bar on-site is only option for food if you don't have a car, but the service and food were great. We asked for rooms away from the main check-in (it's closer to the road and less private), and though they'd already assigned us 3 rooms, they were happy to accommodate, and changed us to another building. Pools are fabulous--a treat after a day at the ruins."
