"Rooms are a little 'tired' in need of a revamp, but was okay for an overnight stay. We didnt get to use all of the facilities on this visit (the pool/gym), so cannot comment on that. The room could've done with a better clean for sure, but I have stayed in a lot worse places, so overall 3 stars for cleanliness. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room are the nicest people I've come across on a business level in recent years and they're the reason for our repeat returns to this hotel...

"Very nice place great location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent lots of choice including breakfast options. Room was spacious but think it maybe a little warm in summer months as no air conditioning. Overall stay excellent will definitely return and recommend to friends"

"Had a hard time figuring out how to adjust the temperature. It was warm in the room, but I did open the windows more which helped a great deal. Wouldn’t recommend for elderly people or anyone with difficulty climbing stairs."

"Spacious room - staff very helpful- beautiful surroundings - lovely breakfast - asked to extend room for 1 hour and no quibble. Even an electric charge point - sadly did not get to experience the spa. Will definitely stay again "
