"Brand newly refurbished room and very helpful staff"

"Rooms are a little 'tired' in need of a revamp, but was okay for an overnight stay. We didnt get to use all of the facilities on this visit (the pool/gym), so cannot comment on that. The room could've done with a better clean for sure, but I have stayed in a lot worse places, so overall 3 stars for cleanliness. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room are the nicest people I've come across on a business level in recent years and they're the reason for our repeat returns to this hotel...

"We were made welcome on arrival and helped to our room with our bags. We enjoyed the balcony with a view and the comfort of our room, although the space was limited. There was a tiny space for clothes hanging and nowhere to store cases or bags. The bathroom was lovely and was very clean. We had a good breakfast and an evening meal which was disappointing, the menu was short of fresh options and lacked imagination.
