"The hotel itself is very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful and as it was Xmas they gave us a hand written Christmas card and there was complimentary mulled wine in the bar. What we were not aware of was the parking charges!!!! If you are NOT a IHG member then the parking was £16 for an overnight stay. It was only when I checked in and was told it was free for members. By this point I had already paid it. I am a IHG member which I had forgot about but the hotel couldn’t refund me...

"A great place to stay. Very friendly and helful staff. Easy parking just on the oither side of the road, lovley building and tastefully decorated comfortable rooms. Didn't dine in for dinner as we were in a rush but the dining area looked fantastic and the menu looked great. Would highly recommend a stay here."

"The hotel is well placed for the traveler. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There is a good choice for breakfast, With a bar and restaurant you can enjoy a casual drink and food during your stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Free parking onsite is a great bonus as you seem to have to pay almost everywhere else. My only gripe is that we had an executive room with very poor WiFi connection. This does not detract from a very nice stay and we will look forward to returning next...
