"The room we stayed in is in a different building to the public house for breakfast & dining. Great for a peaceful night sleep. The views out of the bedroom onto the balcony is stunning. The fields/mountains made it very picturesque."

"Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"We love the Erskine Arms and have visited several times in the past few years. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds and great showers. Some rooms lack storage however. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The bar area is great but can get busy with people eating there early evening. The food for both breakfast and dinner is excellent with a lovely varied menu. The hotel overall is very comfortable and friendly with a good atmosphere. "Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions."

"A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service. "

"Recently refurbished rooms but small. The family room would have been better converted to a double room with a chair instead of a single bed squeezed in next to the double bed."

"Pros: Great house fully equipped. Found the sofas really comfy so all 6 of us could enjoy chilling in the evening so massive TV. AMAZING view esp from main bedroom. Powerful shower / roomy bathroom. Parking for 2 cars. Location perfect for us and not far from all the Zipworlds! Cons: My 5ft 10iin 14 year (and the 12 year old) old found the single beds on the small side as they were up against the walls. "Our apartment had everything and more that we needed to enjoy our stay. It had a well equipped kitchen in order to cook a variety of meals. The lounge and bedroom areas were comfortable, and the bathroom had a spacious shower unit. There was also had a parking space right next to the door. Will be booking again!"
