"Overall a great out of the way place right on the ocean, if you like crashing waves and long beaches even better. You need a car to take advantage of the rural location and the nice drive down the coast. The staff were good with some English. The down side to my room which was very clean and spacious for Costa Rica was, they have taken out the fridge, microwave and no coffee pot! The restaurant there does have good food but after breakfast you are paying. "

"Simple accommodation in a rustic setting, with the sound of the surf, birds and monkeys. Small but very clean pool. Very relaxing after my tour. Staff exceptional. Saw amazing birdlife just walking up the road with Justo the guide."

"Read the small print! First look said it had a pool, whole house to yourself , washer and dryer at 20$ a load? A/C did not work, TV remote was broken, no streaming ? Place needs some TLC. Gas stove was a little scary and ran out. Water pressure was horrible (except the outdoor shower, that was good, electric power showed water in port in American I phones . "The hostess was nice but due to having no windows it was extremely hot in the room at night. Also the owner has dogs that like to bark when anyone drove by no matter the hour. Luckily the hostess worked with us and let us cancel our reservation to find a more quiet place that had windows and ac."

"5 star Top rating for the location and amenities. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor. Maverick, the hotel front desk concierge, was very friendly and patient with us. He welcomed us on our first day and answered all of our questions. Maverick arranged all our tours with Andy for the night tour and Abel for the morning boat tour. Both did a fantastic job, but especially Abel, who went above and beyond on the wildlife tour. "This place was probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. Only issue I had was the Expedia directions sent me to another beach about half hour away where I actually wanted to stay. Only reason I didn't give an overall 5 star rating. But they have a great pool and rooms were great. If I get back there someday I will probably stay there as now I know the exact directions there."
