"Everything about the hotel was on point. Nice people, clean room, excellent hot breakfast. The only minor inconvenience was that the water in the shower didn't get as HOT as I like. Not a big deal, but something I noticed."

"Staff was very helpful (even though the first two rooms assigned had no hot water). Checkin was easy. Beds were not very comfortable. Juice dispenser was inoperative in breakfast area. Staff member told us that the hotel was about to undergo a total renovation. It is badly needed!"

"The hotel as a whole was nice. The shower in our room was really dirty & looked like it hasn't been cleaned well in a while. Maybe not dirty, but moldy. And definitely rust. And the flloor in the room inself could have been cleaner. Also, there was food from a previous guest (or staff) in the fridge."

"The hotel is beautiful and very convenient. There was some noise in the middle of the night from a garbage truck emptying a dumpster behind the hotel (I may just be a light sleeper). The nozzle handle to the shower was also not fully cleaned as there was dried mucus on one side of it. Besides those two things, the hotel was great!"

"Highly recommend Hanna House. The home was charming and the food was delicious. The hosts were wonderful and it is a very relaxing atmosphere. They are very understanding and flexible. Within easy walking distance to everything in historic New Bern."

"About what we expected. A fair price and a fair room. Needs some attention, though. Bathroom door would not shut all the way. Night stand drawer was barely hanging on. Could have used some dresser drawers to put stuff into. None in room. Fridge and microwave were fine. AC and bed were great. We will probably stay here again. "

"We had an amazing time and hope to go back someday. The view from the balcony was perfect and we lucked out with great weather and a calm ocean. My only critique would be that the pool did not look to be the cleanest. We didn’t end up using it because the ocean was so perfect. "
