"The cabanas cosmetics need some work. If you're looking for something new & modern, this is not it. What I loved is, it really is in a rainforest, with all the sounds of crickets and birds chirping 24/7. It is within walking distance to the bus to the Iguazu Falls park, but not to markets and restaurants in Puerto Iguazu. Staying in the cabanas, you do have access to the restaurant, pool and pool bar of the associated Rainforest LaSelva hotel, which is more upscale, and Argentine breakfast comes is included in the price."

"This is a 3-star hotel so I will rate it as such. In terms of pricing, it is a little on the expensive side for Argentina, though Iguazu is heavily touristic which may explain this. PROS Location is excellent, 5-10 minute walking distance to the main road filled with restaurants & shops. 25-minute walk to the Tres Fronteras Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, mini-fridge. Service to book additional tours onsite. Breakfast included with varied selection. Very good restaurant onsite! They will hold your luggage for the day if needed after checkout. Beautiful rooftop pool with bathrooms. Spacious lobby which is important in Iguazu as many people wait for tours & transportation. Some opportunities for improvement: Water bottles sold at $3 USD is steep (there are “Kioscos” within walking distance where you can buy for cheaper) Bathrooms need a little renovation as there is rust and cracked paneling on the door. Floor of our bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. No late checkout available (I would have paid an extra $25-30 if it were available) All in all, I would stay here again given good location, onsite restaurant, breakfast, pool and services :)"

"We could not have been more impressed by this property. The level of service meets the expectations of top rated properties we’ve stayed at in major cities around the world while nestled in a jungle. The pool area was so peaceful and beautiful with 3 levels for guests to enjoy. Food options are limited with a very nice restaurant that offers creative chef specialties and a lobby bar restaurant that was very basic cuisine. The concierge and front desk staff were helpful with all of our questions and needs. "

"La Aldea is a spacious property with buildings laced together with pathways through scenic jungle foliage. Every type of wood is used in fixtures and furniture. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Beautiful experience in every way."

"I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location, and I enjoyed feeling like I was in the middle of the rainforest. One suggestion is to offer more vegan options at breakfast!"
