"This historic hotel was definitely a surprising gem. The surrounding area of the city was a bit sketchy but the property itself was wonderful. Comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, convenient restaurant."

"We picked this hotel for its location for going to the college World Series. The front desk was always helpful, cleaning group friendly. Even with the amount of people in town the entire staff was nice and pleasant with every request or issue that came up. Will always pick this location when in Omaha. "

"The only positive things I can say is the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave and refrigerator, and it is very close to the zoo. The in-room coffee maker was broken, but I was able to fix it. The coffee provided was not meant for the coffee maker and there was no sugar or cream provided. There was an in-door pool, but it was set to about 70 degrees and was too cold to use. It advertised continental breakfast, but at breakfast time there was a sign that said "No Breakfast." Generally, the entire property was run-down. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and they did provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, but they were practically empty. It's a shame because you can tell the property used to be nice but the current owners have let it go."
