"I was very impressed with Queenie, the hostess assigned to my suite. She was so attentive to a point i felt bad for her as she had made herself available 24/7. Her professionalism with her extreme politeness and approachable style make me wonder why other 5 star hotels don't steal her. I was also very satisfied with the property as it's quite central. My mission was to try most of the Michelin Guide recommended restaurants in HCMC. Sirius Saigan is just $2 to $3 away on a Grab car to any of the locations. My studio was nicely appointed with sandals, washer, hair dryer and all the dishes for the kitchen. Altough there is no point cooking as dinning out is so cheap in HCMC, its nice to have. I was pleasantly surprised that the big screen TV comes with Netflix. What a treat! Not sure if this is standard but i find the water super soft from the shower. As a result, i have had my best hair days of all in HCMC. Must also comment on the high quality shampoo and body wash provided. Another unexpected treat. The pool on the 7th floor is fabulous. I only wish there were more than just 9 sun loungers as most guests are resorted to laying on the ground. The view is amazing from the large pool deck. The 7-Eleven and S25 mini mart in the lobby are absolutely brilliant! All the staff are superb at this property including those in the stores. I would give Sirius Saigon 5.5 out of 5 stars. I would give my hostess, Queenie, 7 out of 5 stars. Park Hyatt should steal her already!"

"Very nice hotel overlooking the river. We like new stuffs, not antique, but this hotel surprised us, and exceeded our expectation. Though it bears the age of 99, it's renovated top to bottom, while keeping the tastefully decorated features, such as the tiny but elegant elevator in the lobby area, the crystal lights so many that wowed us, the swimming pool, the antique-designed bathroom fixtures...etc Strong water pressure of the shower, made us wonder, how could this be from a small antique shower head? One of the most spacious rooms we had rented in HCMC, and the best variety of breakfast choices. Here, you can enjoy the delicious breakfast indoor or outdoor, with the river view as a bonus. All the staff in all departments have been very helpful. "
