"Booked Marquis as we had heard good things & wanted a short post-Christmas break, we were not disappointed. The property, staff & food were excellent. We did not venture outside the hotel but know Deal well & went there first to walk the dog on the beach, the Marquis is c.20 minutes by car. Fabulous relaxed stay & we will come back in the summer to try out their terrace. "

"The Hotel was under renovation girl at desk though Helpfull say she did not know I was coming until 10 min before I arrived, the room was not ready not even a bed , would not recommend staying here"

"The property is of very good condition larger than what I thought from the pictures we spent two nights there as we wanted some peace and quiet over New years Eve away from the loudness of fireworks. And I was very happy to report there was no noise at all required"
