"We had a lovely time in our room overlooking the bay and Alcatraz. The gingerbread house and the tree were fabulous. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Laurel Court.The location is perfect for walking to Union Square and Chinatown. We also visited Grace Cathedral and the Winter Wonderland next-door. It was a perfect weekend."

"The price, clean, location was perfect. Two blocks from Union Square. Lots of holiday shopping if your into it. Walkable. Lots of food options. Told the quality of the hotel has slipped. Kool elevator. Felt big city safe. Always keep your situational awareness up but we had no issues walking around at night. Some homeless but not an issue. Seemed safe around the hotel.
