"A small former coaching inn. Period features and comfortable. Delightful staff. Set up may appear a bit odd in as much as breakfast etc is 200 yds down the road in a sister pub but it works very well. I can highly recommend this hotel. The village itself has plenty of dining opportunities. "

"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."

"Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, great views. Clean as a whistle. Bathroom spotless and high spec but shower pressure a bit weak. Slight negative was pool and hot tub was very busy with lots of members - eg 6 teenage boys in the hot tub (perfectly well behaved btw but made it crowded). Appreciate spa is another source of income for hotel but put us off going down next day. Would also have been nice if a few more food options were available in the afternoon as...
