"The front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent -- there were a couple issues at the start, but they were addressed immediately and with the precision and skill of a 5 star hotel -- any issues I had were made right not only in the ways I expected, but in ways that went above and beyond, leading me to recommend this hotel and plan another booking. "I like the hotel. It is in a fun area. And I liked my bedroom and sitting room plus kitchenette. I did not like the shower over the bath which was the worst shower I have encountered here or in the UK. Australia is meant to have decent showers. Simply not good enough. "

"You get what you pay for; nothing flash or overly lush but certainly comfortable enough, clean, and a decent amount of space in the room. They were conducting renovations at the time of my stay so the smell of paint was lingering in the air at times but it was a non issue and it didn't impact my stay at all. Staff were polite and friendly enough. Ultimately it's close to a main road, so there was a fair amount of street noise in the mornings and no double glazed windows so keep noise...

"Great hotel for the money however it wasn’t very clean. We found a spider & a two cockroaches during our 4 night stay - I know insects can get in but not what we expected when the room was cleaned every day. Hotel is quite dated, shower pressure wasn’t great but it did the job. Location is ok although neighbours are…colourful. It was easy to get to public transport and access to the beautiful city. "It was a nice place but rooms were very small, almost a bit hard to have room for all of your bags. Clean and nice toilets and showers. 17 $ discount on parking each night which is very good in Sydney. Nice touch to have the air cons going when you arrive. "

"Property itself was really clean and well decorated. I didn’t mind how small the room was because it had nice big windows and balconies and everything I needed. It was a bit strange having to walk through the closed cafe downstairs to get to the room but I would stay here again."
