"Hotel staff was very helpful and very accommodating, we arrived very late and we picked up a meal from outside, the staff arranged a seating in the breakfast bar for us right away, very helpful this was. The room was very clean and also the beds spotless. At the time of visit, NewYear an eve we got the hotel for £62 for a family room, every where else was several hundreds. With this in mind you get what you pay for but we got a family run business that I would recommend no problem. Thank you...

"I spent one night at the Waverley Inn in Dingwall, while heading back from a work trip. PROS: friendly staff, clean and spacious room and bathroom, wifi works well, free parking available, excellent value for money, and there's the chance to use a microwave oven in the dinning-hall. Special mention for the microwave oven, I wish more hotels and guest houses offered that option! Cons: on the day I was there, the tv (and tv remote) didn't work; but wifi worked well. "Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "

"This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....
