"Lovely clean property in a gorgeous location in Salcombe. All the staff were friendly and our room had a partial view of the estuary which was lovely. The parking is a bit off putting as it’s on a steep slope and limited but the staff do take care of that when you arrive and can park your car for you. "Lovely views and gardens fabulously building inside and out. Sorry to say the breakfast was lawful l was not late for breakfast but no hot food everything was empty except cold Tomatoes half cook cold scrambled egg l though they would put more food out but no. No cups No cutlery tryed to make tea no milk. When my family came down they had the same exact the same experience. I don't feel it was the staff's fault as they seam to be under staffed. This is my second visit we loved everything else...

I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors. May be a notice in all rooms saying please be considerate to others and close doors quietly and not to speak too loudly. A hook needed on back of bathroom door to hang towel."
