"An excellent facility in the cathedral complex which was just what we wanted. We love the cathedral and it is so central to everywhere we wanted to go. At night the floodlit building is magical - photo is from our room window."

"Lovely rooms in building near main bar/restaurant. Parking a bit further away (on pier) but was fine. Restaurant was excellent (but expensive). They delivered breakfast to our room as we left early - nice touch"

"Great place for an overnight stay in Dover. Especially, if Dover is your cruise port. A great location if your intention is to spend a few days exploring Dover. Highly recommend you contact this property ahead of time should you require securing your luggage prior to checking in or after checking out. Room #6 is on the top floor (2nd floor) accessible by stairs only. Room #6 has a very small ensuite bathroom which includes a very small shower. This shower is difficult to enter and exit if...

"I would Not recommend this property to anyone. IT IS a RIP Off. I was Not able to get in the place and what i did See IT IS a really dump. Dirty, old and i would Not even let homeless peaple stay there. I am now fighting to get my Money Back."

"This VRBO was amazing. The caretaker went over and beyond. He even drove us to the cruise terminal when our taxi was too small. He was accommodating to anything we needed. Home has deep history and I feel privileged that we were able to stay there."

"Lovely flat , very comfortable bed, all in good order with fantastically equipped kitchen and nice shower. Everything we needed was there, and host was quick to answer any questions. Not really for older couples, due to steps down from parking at the back, and parking a little tricky (which host did point out) Back area looks rather down at heel when you arrive, which is a shame considering how nice the flat itself is. "

"A comfy home, lots of space and everything we needed for a great stay. The balcony came into its own on a beautiful sunny weekend and the walk into the harbour along the Marine or the beach via Zig-Zag path was lovely. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Folkestone!"
