"Hotel is typical of the Toyoko Inn quality, super convenient to subway station (immediately outside elevator exit (6) of Gion station, 1 station away from Fukuoka station. Not much around the hotel itself, but there’s an interesting temple nearby and walkable to Old district. Room itself is really small with no room to open luggage except on bed. Is fine for a one nite stay but prob a bit claustrophobic after awhile. Breakfast selection is good, as is typical of Toyoko, a great perk."
