The castle was beautiful and with a pleasant environment. The staff was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. The dining and entertainment didn’t dining was a pleasant experience. The new extension at Crossbasket is cozy and it is wonderful to explore the castle grounds. Be prepared that the hotel rates are not for staying in the castle itself but for the modern extension across the parking lot

Outstanding stay at this Castle. We stayed here in Oct overnight on a 2 week trip thtough Ireland and Scotland and wish we stayed another night.The staff was great and very attentive, our room was very nice amd luxurious, we loved the turn down service. Dinner was fantastic and definitely one of the better dinners on our trip. We went for a few walks around the estate and its gorgeous from the small paths to the stream. I highly recommend staying here, we will come here again if we come back through.

We stayed in the east house and was great for our family of 5 the accommodations were fabulous just wish we were prepared for all the construction as they are adding more facilities but it didn’t hamper our stay at all. Staff couldn’t be nicer!

This by far was our favorite place to stay while we were in Scotland. Our room was huge, amazing property. It was my wife's birthday and they helped celebrate it at dinner. Yes, this place cost a pretty penny, but for one night we stayed in a castle and my wife felt like a queen. Such a beautiful location and property. Staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating.
