"A warm welcome with a friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room with good facilities. Breakfast was continental-style with a good range of foods including fruit, cereals and fresh toast, available. The owner was very helpful and chatty. The area was fairly quiet. The price was reasonable - good value. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again."

"8 adults aged from 25 to 63! Chance for annual family get together. Lovely comfy house, plenty of room for us all to be together or sit quietly. Lovely garden with lots of squirrels to watch scurrying around & a nice park opposite too! Lovely stroll to the ferry and short crossing over to Gunwharf for a bit of retail therapy, lunch and boat watching! Nice dining table for evening of board games! Really comfy beds and good showers & baths! Easy to get a take away delivered and clear instructions...

"My partner and I booked Bury Villa for a gathering of our friends usually scattered across the country and it was the perfect place to reconnect. The photos don't do it justice - it must have been refurbished since they were taken (for instance there are beautiful new carpets). We were glad that our friends'

"The house suited our family group of 8 really well. The house was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Although we had a couple of mishaps during our stay the property manager dealt with them efficiently and politely. We would stay in this property again. "

"The property was beautiful, warm and welcoming. A short walk from the ferry across to Portsmouth, an art gallery almost next door and Morrisons a hop skip and jump away so a perfect location especially with it's own parking spot. Had a brilliant stay despite the weather."

"It was clean, staff was very helpful and answered our questions as far as how to get around to London. They also kept our luggage at their office until we got a room. They also let us into our room ahead of scheduled which was nice after our disembarkation from a long cruise. Breakfast was really good as well. Highly recommended it!"
