"If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would just for the staff!! Anyone we came in contact with were impeccably nice. It was so wonderful meeting them. Their friendliness was very welcoming and warm. Made me feel right at home. They even gave us a take away meal for breakfast because we were leaving prior to breakfast hours."

"I stayed here after a particularly wet day walking the Pennine Way. Lesley, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, warm and good facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. It’s somewhere I’d definitely like to go back to."
