4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Lovely place to stay, reception was lovely, right in the centre it’s a good spot. Only gripe if it is one, was the £15 parking charge per night to stay, yes it is in the booking info once you get past the “parking available” it then says the cost, unfortunately I just looked at the parking available option. Just to make more people aware. "

Classic Lodges The Old Swan Hotel
3.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (833)
"Love the Swan. Great breakfast. Cosy bar. Staff are helpful and it has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are a bit old now though. The single room in particular was pretty tiny and dark, as the windows were small. The other issue is they turn the heating off fairly often. My room was really cold after midnight and during the day. Apparently you can request a heater but no one told me this. A friend told me after. "Second time staying at this hotel for the city’s annual art and comic festival. The Hotel is across the road from the event, making it ideal for the weekends happenings. Rooms are clean and well kept. We found it had everything we needed for our short stay. Plenty of hot water and amenities. Breakfast was excellent, well stocked and well organised. The staff were always polite and helpful. We will be returning for sure. Only issues are that a bar/club venue next door can play music into the...
