"We had a great stay at the settlers cabin! Great location in the woods and the bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed including firewood. We watched a movie at the theatre and it was like being in an AMC. Host was a great communicator. Highly recommend!"

"In town for a friend’s daughter’s wedding - she married a local. Place was very close to the church and reception venue. Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Host lllll which were enjoyed."

"Very nice hotel. Especially appreciated the breakfast--large variety of items to choose from--eggs and bacon and potatoes. Doors were a little noisy but it did not disturb my sleep. Two things that I should have told the desk were loose control on shower and the TV remote did not work very well. Will choose Hampton again."

"The main level was very cozy and easy to hang out with everyone. The fireplace was very nice to have as well. In the kitchen, it would be nice to have more space for groceries that we brought, so they didn't have to sit on the counter top all week. Other than that, the kitchen was spacious, well-stocked, with a clean fridge, clean dishwasher, complimentary kuerig cups. Being there for a whole week, with seven people, we could have used another dishwasher pod. We had to go buy some to run the last load for the dishwasher. Bathrooms were large and clean. The main upstairs bathroom had a crack in the door, and the toilet clogged as soon as we arrived, but it righted itself the next day. The outside had plenty of space for my kids to play. We didn't utilize the deck much because it was cold, but it looked very neat and clean. The checking-out process was easy, and didn't require a long list of tasks to complete. The only thing i really didn't like was the driveway. We hade to travel very slowly because it was so torn up, then at the top ot turned really steep, so we had to hit the gas and try to avoid a huge pot hole. The staff was very responsive when we had any issues or questions. You should offer cancelations within a reasonable amount of time. We tried to cancel after the hurricane came through, and we were told that we could only get a credit toward another property, or change our dates. That's not always a possibility when you're traveling"

"This was one of the best Christmases we have ever had. We spent most of our time there in the cabin with the fireplace. We brought a small Christmas tree and decorated the cabin. It was really nice to look in from the hot tub and see it all. This was the second time we have been there, and the cabin is always well kept up and clean. The ladies do an awesome job maintaining it. we will definitely be coming back."
