"A shout out to Carlos Paillard, the desk clerk when we checked in. He informed us that there was a special religious procession that would bring a float, containing a statue of the Virgin Mary, to a church across the street. He said that it would happen around 1-2 am. It actually happened around 3-4 am. "This is an excellent hotel. The staff were brilliant, room was great size, bed was the biggest I’ve ever slept in with really comfy pillows and the bathroom was great. The hotel is walking distance to all the main sights but there is a tram station just outside. The hotel pool is brilliant as it’s a very good size and lots of sunbeds to relax after a long day sightseeing. There isn’t anything I can fault with this hotel and would highly recommend and stay again. "

"Very clean room & facilities; flexibility with luggage storage. The air freshener odor in the lobby is too strong & unpleasant. The neighborhood around the hotel had very few options for breakfast, dining, & entertainment, but the metro stop to the city center was literally feet away from the hotel entrance so getting where we wanted to go was very easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and slept comfortably. "
