"The hotel looks to be renovated and uses a digital key to open the front sliding door and room door. I was sent a link with my reservation info and the digital keys. Opened the link on my phone and swiped the digital key to open the door. My concern was whether their WiFi would be working, which is needed to open the link. Cell signal on my phone was spotty there. Parking was in the rear of the hotel on parking spots with yellow lines. Coop market was next door, which was very convenient....

"We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one...

Would have been nice to have a mini microwave in room but still ok. had great views from our second floor room of the Alps. Staff was excellent, Samuel is THE MAN for everything. If I remember correctly Kriens is only 2/3 stops away from Lucerne which I think is a fantastic town. The offer the usual continental breakfast which I found to be fresh each day.
