"Great accommodation with excellent walking paths around the area. The hosts were informative & very polite. The cooked breakfast included was amazing. Wonderful place to stay. "
"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this.
The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed.
Having said that we had a fantastic meal at the restaurant and all the staff were really warm and...
"Room was very large and comfortable. Exactly as described and right downtown. Very walkable to all attractions and dining. Jo was a great host and provided excellent, large breakfast. Piano bar downstairs on Thurs - Sat nights. Would stay again. "
"Owner is so lovely and very helpful, almost like a personal tour guide for us with plenty of suggestions for things for us to see and do. Very friendly!! Breakfast was beautiful! Room was clean, walking distance to beaches shops and restaurants. I’d stay again if visiting ilfracombe again. "

Have never visited before and it really is a charming little seaside location. Once you are down to the lower levels it is very easy to walk around and the harbour area has good range of places to eat and drink.

Our second visit in 6 weeks. We have decided we want to move there permanently. So much to see and do a lovely seaside town, but not overly commercialised

Ilfracombe will not be to everyone's taste. It is not a typical seaside resort Blackpool style. It's a faded Edwardian resort and I love it.

We were there out of season, so several places closed, but still a lovely place to explore and great countryside to walk.

A wonderful seaside town but a shame a lot of buildings are left to rot and in need of restoration.

It's a small seaside town but within a short drive of other nearby places to explore.
"Nice and cosy stay with good food in the restaurant and friendly staff. The rooms were clean, well appointed and had comfy beds for a good night sleep. What more would you need?"
"Lin is lovely and I honestly don't know how she does it. it's an old house like most in Ilfracombe so don't expect a lift and the car park is quite steep. I stayed here for a few days either side of a trip to Lundy and it was perfect for me. Lin would have let me leave my car in the car park had she not been full but it was perfectly safe on the road outside as there are no restrictions and it was only a 15 minute walk to the pier. Breakfast is great if a little late for me - I'm an early riser at home. The fridge on the landing was a nice surprise and very useful with Lidl just around the corner. I'd definitely recommend this place and stay here again.."
"This is a lovely Guest House .Sharon and Daryl are exceptionally friendly and provide lots of advice on the local and surrounding area. The breakfasts are marvellous.we really enjoyed our week.👍"
