Home to two of London’s most popular music venues, 02 Academy and Union Chapel, Islington is a popular spot for gig lovers. Union Chapel, in particular, is a special venue due to the fact that it is based within a working church which still has pews for audiences to sit in and enjoy a show from. The O2 Academy often has a lineup of big names and world famous acts on its event listings.

Further entertainment can be enjoyed at Almeida Theatre, an alternative and award-winning theatre in London, that is based in Islington and is often putting on shows in its 325-seat venue.
