"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"This is a great home located inside a huge resort, which I didn’t know when I booked. There is a grocery store, several shops, upscale restaurants and a private beach with great snorkeling. You will not be disappointed."

"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."

"We were at the Westin Hapuna Bech for our 50th anniversary. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. I had hurt my foot before the trip and they lent us a wheelchair to get to the pool area and restaurant. They also moved us to an ADA room closer to the elevator when one became available the second day. Our seven night stay was fun and we highly recommend this hotel."

"I visited the big island with my best friend for a conference. The conference was at the Fairmont Orchid and Waimea was a perfect stay! I appreciated staying in a cozy place, in such a cute city. The country lodge had everything I needed for my 5 day stay and was within driving distance to all the places we went to!"
