"Location was good, quiet and private, only 20 miles from Hilo town. Large, roomey studio type apt was very comfortable for us. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, everything about it was as advertised on VRBO. We like to be away from all the touristy action, yet be able to make daily trips to see the sites. Sandra's place was perfect for this visit. If you like Thai food, you must try the New Chaing Mai restaurant in Hilo."

"If you go to the Big Island, this is where you want to stay. The view is the best. We saw sea turtles every morning. It was less than 10 minutes from a good-sized farmer's market. All the stuff in Hilo is just 30 minutes away. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Lots of beach gear! Thank you."
