"Had a few problems getting there as we got of the tram at the wrong Holiday Inn Express so had a two mile walk, gratefully downhill. When we got there realised the real tram stop was only 100m away...very conveniant for the rest of the trip. Nice room, very nice staff, and a good restaurant with an all inclusive breakfast which was very comprehensive to others we have experienced. A nice four day stay. "

"Great location near a tram stop with superb restaurants on the door stop. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms as a family and both were very comfortable and clean. Some areas are a little tired and could do with some updating. We had breakfast each day and there was plenty of choice and it was all very good."

"I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly friendly, it was easily accessible from the city centre by the number 7, 14 or 11 buses and it’s quiet. The bed was super comfy and all other amenities were excellent. I was pretty jet lagged so I appreciated coming to this quiet area and resting. Thank you for everything and I will for sure be back!"

"The castle is set in a beautiful estate and has many facilities such as sauna, pool and equestrian centre. our room was very clean and comfortable and near to the bistro where we had our evening meal and a delicious breakfast the next morning. the receptionist was very helpful and we even met the owner of the castle who showed us around the main restaurant. Naturally, as befitting a castle, it has lots of character. We only had one night but are planning on going back. The castle is nearby many...

"Arriving late on a dark evening, it looked unwelcoming - but the lass on reception made up for that! The room was large and warm, with wooden furniture, and the "curtains" were wooden shutters: it felt friendly. Characterful: the ceiling must have been about 4m up, an a bit of box trim (proably hiding pipework) made a useful seat or low shelf. Everything worked. The station was a 5 minute walk, town centre likewise. I'd go back if in the area again."
