"Best bits of this hotel - easy self check in and check out. Everything else is really quite basic which corresponds the price. It is great if you need to stay somewhere as you wait over for a flights in Edinburgh. Tram stops are in a walkable distance, or we just walked to the centre - I think it took us less than hour. "We loved our stay on the Ocean Mist - a lovingly restored boat! Our room was on the small side, but we had a full king size bed and the most comfortable sheets! "I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly friendly, it was easily accessible from the city centre by the number 7, 14 or 11 buses and it’s quiet. The bed was super comfy and all other amenities were excellent. I was pretty jet lagged so I appreciated coming to this quiet area and resting. Thank you for everything and I will for sure be back!"

"Arriving late on a dark evening, it looked unwelcoming - but the lass on reception made up for that! The room was large and warm, with wooden furniture, and the "curtains" were wooden shutters: it felt friendly. Characterful: the ceiling must have been about 4m up, an a bit of box trim (proably hiding pipework) made a useful seat or low shelf. Everything worked. The station was a 5 minute walk, town centre likewise. I'd go back if in the area again."
