"The stay was comfortable but mired by booking issues, and a bathroom with only a shower, on second floor when I had called ahead to arrange ground floor due to mobility issues. Shower needed cleaning and rubber seals hanging orr, plus no extra tor fan. Also sink so small.couldn't fill kettle or bottles, and not particularly good for washing either being so small. Cocktail bar staff like to show off prepared coctails for other guests so gave up after 5min wait. Dining room staff pleasant but...

"WI-FI was non functional which caused problems for my travel partner. I found the staff just wonderfully helpful - i was sick and needed to see a Dr. The Desk Staff directed me to see Keith at Boots Pharmacy, who in turn sent me to see a Dr. up the street. Within the hour I had prescription medication in my hand."

The phone worked in this room but on my previous stay several days earlier in another room, did not work. I was unable to contact reception desk. "We had an amazing time in Inverness, thanks to the lovely team at Best Western. Ale at the front desk was so friendly and kind. She was able to book us into a last-minute room after our first accommodations at a different hotel fell through. The rooms were lovely, and provided great views of the river. The daily breakfast was a great add-on and had a beautiful view from the restaurant. We will gladly be back again! "

"We loved it at Jacobite House. 1st floor room 1 with en suite private bathroom. There is a shared living area and kitchenette but we didn’t use it. So many restaurants and bars within a stone throw, no need to stay in our room. Our suite was newly renovated with modern touches. Clean linens and towels were provided. Self check in via message was clear and precise. Yes we would stay again. "

"Lovely Victorian hotel. Restaurant on site in a glass conservatory. Great breakfast included which you could have served or continental buffet. Dinner menu also had many good options. Rooms were very quiet and it had a garden off of the dining room. Nice lobby and bar area where you could have drinks."
