"We stayed at the Apartments Hakuba last minute when our original hotel proved to be extremely dirty and uncomfortable. The owners were quick to respond which made our last minute booking easy! Only thing I would change is making the beds more comfortable and providing some coffee or at least a standard coffee pot, only option was a little Nescafe machine where you needed specific pods, so we had to leave to grab coffee each day since we didnt have a car. "We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Happo One Gondola Adam—and very peaceful."

"It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location. "

"The onsen at Dormy Inn was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice little touches like welcome drink, evening snack etc. Not many restaurants nearby. Short walk to Matsumoto Castle."

"We spent two nights at this hotel in a Japanese style room. We found the room comfortable and spacious. I very much enjoyed the public bath in the hotel and visited AM and PM for a relaxing soak. The hotel is a quirky mix of modern and traditional and we appreciated this.We had a wonderful breakfast buffet each morning in the hotel restaurant and the staff was always gelpful and kind. We found everything very walkable to this hotel. The station, castle, art museum, shopping, restaurants and coffee/tea/sweets are not far. We would definitely stay here again and we really loved the vibe of Motsumoto!"

"One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Super nice room, huge amount of space, two very comfortable double beds. Very nice sitting area, great view. Very nice onsen, and very very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!!"
