"Excellent hotel and great food. People in charge of the food room need to make you feel more welcoming, they only focused on parties of 3 or more / I ate alone and almost never came to check on me, I had to ask for coffee 2 times. Food was great but customer service has to be excellent. "

"Camino Real is your best luxury option en CDMX due its location, service, amenities, restataurants, and staff. It is located in the heart of the city, and that makes it conveniente to reach everywhere. Just one thing, ask for a quiet room, beacause, they have some rooms with great views, but the streets in the zone are noisy"

"It was hard to find the property at first since it does not have the name listed outside, but the man with the short hair was always very accommodating from the very start. He walked all the way to where we were so he could guide us to the building. Additionally, he would answer any questions we had regarding local places and the best ways to get there, even about local food. With that said, the rooms were very small as well as some of the common areas. Overall, the staff made it better."

"Gracious old hotel, like a rich distinguished man or woman who has aged. The hotel needs updating. The breakfast buffet was mediocre, including the service (not five stars). The dining room furniture is old and tired and so is the decor. The staff was verbally pushy for tips. It is at best a four star property, not five stars by international standards. "Have not stayed here for 15 years. It does not look that good from the outside but is very nice inside. The rooms have been nicely remodeled. Decent bathroom, decent wifi. One mattress was too hard, the other just right.the bedding was nice and in good condition. It has a strong box/mini safe which was easy to use. My room was windowless and very quiet There are lots of dining choices to suit most tastes and budgets. I enjoyed my stay and will be staying again. "
