"Brilliant location, right by Ufizzi. Staff very helpful, only downside was iffy WiFi. We cooked one night in the little kitchen which was perfectly adequate. I loved the stove top coffee maker and generously provided espresso coffee. Clean and comfortable. Would happily stay again. "

"A very nice "on the budget" option that is close to both the train stations and all the major attractions. The staff is nice and generally responsive. The only problem we had was related to the general condition of the property. While the room itself was clean, there was a terrible smell coming from the shower stall (which was masked initially by a huge amount of air freshener spray). When we informed the staff of this problem, they called a plumber, who said the said it was a major problem...

"We stayed for 2 nights here. We were grateful for the wider stairs to lug our luggage up to the 2nd floor. Would recommend again, in the center of things, easy to walk to restaurants and sights. Great bar right across the street we would end the night with. The room itself is updated and modern even though in an old building. Only complaints is there were mosquitos in the room, husband got bites all over. And the walls are very thin-which is to be expected in an old building, but could...

"my most favorite hotel room on this trip! steps from the Duomo, but in the room you'd never know - it was quiet and serene. The room itself was huge and gorgeous, with brick ceiling that had curved eaves. a soaking tub on a stone platform was a special treat. beware - it is up 3 floors with no elevator, but was worth it to us"

"It is a walk up, there is a lift in the building but not for guest. If you are traveling with big luggages, prepare to carry them yourself. Everything else met our expectation. Location is great too."

"This was a very old but very nice hotel and it is a great location. Lots of places to go have something to or drink nearby and only 5-7 minute walk to the old bridge. Great experience!"

"Overall a good experience. However, I was there during the off-season (it's geared towards summer visitors) and some of the services changed their operating times. The market closed earlier, and the shuttle bus had a completely different schedule. This was not indicated *anywhere* on the signs posted on site or on their "app" (a webpage). I have no issue with the changes. I *do* have issue with those changes not being communicated. I would stay there again, but I'd ask a lot more questions...
