The area of the hotel where our room was positioned was exceptionally quiet. Lovely spacious clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was exquisite, particularly enjoyed the haggis patties.

Great hotel right in the heart of the royal mile. very friendly staff, nice interior plus rooms very spacious. Breakfast buffet was really good loads to choose from. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in edinburgh.

Property was excellent. Great location and friendly staff. We were not informed that the pool would be closed when we booked. Hotel gave us drinks vouchers and free breakfast for our stay and we had use of a hotel pool 5 minutes away and they arranged a taxi both ways. Hotel said Expedia should have informed us but we couldn’t have changed the booking anyway as we did it non refundable. That was the only annoyance

As usual the Radison Blu made our stay very enjoyable. We love the pool and sauna and the sitting area in the bar area is discreet and comfy. Excellent check in experience with a cheery, efficient member of staff (sorry I didn’t get his name.

Overall the hotel was good. I was a bit dismayed that we werent told before booking or even up to day of arrival, of the pool being closed for maintenance. There were a couple of lights (standard and table) not working but that wasnt a big issue. Also the bathroom doorstop was missing but there part of the fixing still left in the floor. Again, not a big issue but little details can make a difference. The bigger 9f the issues was not being told about the pool being closed. I would have expected a reduction in price because of this.

When i was there, 2 out of the 3 elevators were not operational & when i arrived an hour or so earlier than check in time the computers were "not working" so they couldnt tell if rooms were ready so it was a bit chaotic. The room was huge but had no mini fridge & no Netflix or anything on the TV (casting wouldn'tconnect). The location is really great. Walkable to all Edinburgh has to offer but still quiet & comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff but probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The mattress was too soft and even when I requested the mattress to be made firmer, it was still not firm enough.
