We were very disappointed with parking. We stayed during a rugby match day, and the hotel had no parking available. We had to park half a mile away. We’ve stayed near Murrayfield during game days a few times and have never had a problem with parking. Hotel staff were ok. When we arrived we were just told to go wait at the back of the queue? People were waiting to get in to the restaurant area, which was just chaos.

An absolutely incredible stay. The place is warm, elegant, and boutique. They have a complimentary upgrade, and the suite was luxurious and beautiful. They also accommodated several special requests in terms of luggage storage. The location is right on the main road coming from the airport and into town, and it’s an easy quick ride to all the sites. Highly recommend Murrayfield to get out of the congestion of town, but be highly convenient to what you need.

Room was warm and stuffy. The window only opened a crack and there was a common space right outside with people in it most of the time so we had to at least close the curtains for some privacy, which blocked the air. They left a fan in the room which was nice - clearly we were not the first to have the issue! The room and facilities were clean and the food we got from the restaurant was first rate. The road is very busy and the nearest neighborhood is down it and not the most scenic or useful of areas. However it is on the bus line this fairly convenient to the city center.

Hotel is in a great location for multiple things. However we didn’t have a great experience at this hotel firstly our room wasn’t even located at the main hotel but a few doors down next to a pub! Then if you’re lucky enough to get a room close to the main entrance you can listen to the door slam everyone someone enters. The room itself was spacious put hasn’t seen a proper clean since the day it opened, thick dust over power outlets and light fittings also a silly glass door to the poorly designed bathroom. Why anyone would think putting a raised timber duckboard right inside the doorway so you kick it every time you enter the bathroom is a good idea is beyond me! Overall not a bad hotel but id expect a lot more for what this cost!

It is a well maintained property. The room was too small for my liking but was very neat and clean. I particulary liked the washroom. It is an old building so carpet in staricase does not smell fresh.

i arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm to find it's beer garden at the front of the hotel completely overrun with fans of glasgow rangers making use of two outside bars that had been set up & loud music was blaring from a sound system. myself & a couple of dozen man utd fans fought our way through the mob only to be faced with four bouncers who were supposed to maintain control quizing us before we were allowed into the hotel, where we were informed that we would have to wait till after 2pm to check in. it was a hot & muggy afternoon & i was already exhausted from my travels that day & wanted a shower & a short rest before the game at murrayfield. i got time for the shower but it was after 3pm by this time & i'd still got to get to the stadium before kick off. i got soaked walking to the stadium & soaked again on the way back to the hotel for my overdue rest, i suffer from MS. but no, the fans were back in the beer garden, music blaring yet again & my room, nice though it was with a lovely big shower cubicle, was on the ground floor & to highlight this the bedroom window was a large pane of frosted glass, i had to close the blinds & the curtains to get some privacy but didn't drown out the racket from right outside my window, one of the bars had been set up right outside my room. breakfast wasn't included in the £246 i paid & it would be another £25, needless to say i wasn't going to pay that & i checked out at 9am, i won't be back

We arrived at the hotel and wife has a disability we was told no other rooms and put on the top floor View from window of kitchen ducting,noise and swearing from kitchen staff,the top floor also has the cleaning staff rooms so no early lay in This hotel is not cheap and the room is so small avoid unless desperate
