"Had an overnight stay. Had a lovely welcome Room was 407, nicely appointed room, although TV needs updating. The room was uncomfortably warm We tried to turn the air con down but had no effect. Tried opening windows but they seemed locked. Rang reception was told to turn air con off for 60 seconds and then back on, it should reset itself ! This also did not work, as still blowing out hot air, 2nd time of ringing, sent engineer, who turn it off. He then proceeded to wrestle the window...

"I booked the Novotel months ago, this was changed to the Mercure but not by me weeks ago. I received the customary welcome email 24 hours before from the Mercure. I arrived at my hotel and wasn’t able to gain entry - eventually someone arrived to say I’d be transferred to The Novotel.
