"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Clean single room, great for a few night's stay. Downside: widows do not open (restricted) and it was hot!!! Thank you for a fan. It would be great I the windows were not restricted and I could create a draft to air out the room. Staff were nice, it's just the wait time. Maybe it was my own fault as it was busy. Another thing - there was nowhere to put the backpack/ luggage. Could you please provide a bench or something? It would be a great addition to the room!"

"Lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. Big relaxing and inviting bar area. The pool area was ok, the hot tub was warm not hot but still relaxing after a long hike. Not a place where you can rest on lounge chairs but if you wanted to swim, sauna, steam room then perfect. Stayed in a lodge room which was the best choice, very quiet and view to greenery and trees. Room and bathroom very spacious. Highly recommend."
