I am disappointed to have to give this property a somewhat negative review. The Hotel looked newly renovated. There are nice restaurants/amenities close by however I didn't feel safe as there was a fair amount of homeless in the area around the property. Additionally which is typical with the Marriott Chain is there are always additional charges.

Never seen cockroach in the hotel but I saw it in my room First day I got room which some strong smell in the bathroom and asked to change the room but they did not have extra room which was not acceptable and I could not sleep because of the smoke smell Second day I got new room but the cockroach there it was huge cockroach Never ever seen this kind of bug in the hotel

The staff charged for parking and breakfast without telling me that these were not free. They gave me a permission slip for parking and did not once say that it was $21 dollars per night. They also did not say that breakfast was not complimentary and allowed me to eat to then charge me $50 from my deposit. Terrible service.

The property is close to the freeway but it is so quiet. The staff are so nice and welcoming. It is on Ventura Blvd so you have shopping and restaurant choices. I can’t wait to stay here again.

I have never wrote a review until now. After booking through Expedia and getting to the hotel I was surprise to find out that I had to be charged $21 night/car for self parking. My stay was fine, the hotel is nice and clean. I checked out 2 days later and now I keep seeing charges on my card. It’s been a week and a new charge has popped up. The whole experience of hidden fees and them charging my card without any warning or permission. I will never stay here again. There are plenty of hotels around this area and many that don’t charge for parking. My mother stayed down the street at another cheaper hotel and wasn’t taxed so much or charged after the fact.
